The MP40 Maschinenpistole 40 is a German submachine gun. The MP40 is one of the most common weapons in the game, and by default has abundant ammunition. It does high damage, though this tapers off in Call of Duty: United Offensivealong with high magazine capacity and very little recoil and an adequate rate of fire, except that unlike other machine guns, the MP40 does not have a semi-automatic firing mode. This makes for a very versatile weapon in the campaign, as it only takes two shots to the body to bring down an enemy, although in Call of Duty: United Offensiveit takes up to five rounds.
Its high damage and rate of fire makes it the best spray-and-pray gun in the game, as it can clear an entire room with only one magazine. Overall, the gun can be considered a much more abundant version of the British Sten.

The MP40 is still relatively powerful in multiplayer, read more >> it takes just three bullets to kill an enemy, or up to seven at long range in Call of Duty: United Offensiveand with its fairly good accuracy and high magazine capacity, it is more than capable of killing ten or more opponents per magazine.
The MP40 is a stable submachine gun found on all fronts. It is the first automatic weapon encountered by the player in the level " Not One Step Back ". It does decent damage and has controllable recoil, compared to some other submachine guns.
On the last level of the game, Wehrmacht troops carry often up to 1, rounds or more with them. Anywhere else in the game each soldier has 96 at the most part except for the first mission, where one can be found with no more than rounds in it. The most a player can hold at once is 32 rounds in the magazine and rounds of reserve ammunition.
The Call of Duty 2 MP40 has been slightly modified from the older versions and is the most common found weapon in the game. While its damage and rate of fire are the same, its recoil has been significantly increased. This makes it much harder to control, so burst firing a target that isn't in close quarters is essential if the player wants to hit an enemy.
It takes two rounds to kill an enemy in the campaign, the same as the older installments. Also, its range is somewhat decreased. The MP40 is still quite powerful at close range, still requiring only three rounds to kill one enemy. It is also not seen in mission featuring the French or Italian militaries.COD WWII: HOW TO UNLOCK THE MP40!😎

Bone Saw. Bacon and Eggs. Spawn with it. P Luger.Like all standard German homes of the s, it comes furnished with a secret Mystery Box which exchanges 1, of your Jolts to bestow a randomized weapon useful for bulking up your arsenal.
There are ten lanterns around the map you need to shoot in order to open the door to the Mystery Box. There's no particular order to dinging all the lanterns; the route listed below takes you around the house in a roughly circular pattern that aids in evading chasing zombies while you hunt for lanterns.
From the MP40 weapon locker, turn left to catch the first lantern dangling from a wood post at the base of the stairs. Head upstairs and spot the next lantern beside a piano and wooden shelf. At the other end of the upper floor hallway rests the fourth lantern upon a chair keeping the Geistchild armor station company.
Kitty corner from the Geistchild station is a desk with two bottles and assorted books strewn across its top. The fifth lantern does a poor job trying to blend in. Wrap around to the right and into the kitchen area where the seventh lantern hangs above a well-lit dining table.
Turn to the left and peer through the broken window into the chilly night for the eighth lantern perched atop a metal pullcart on the left side. Head back to the downstairs living area with the MP40 locker. Bullseye lantern nine hanging against a wood post next to a kitchenware-laden table in the center of the room. Clamber upstairs once more, and shoot the final lantern hanging above the second floor railing. The nearby white clapboard door will swing open to finally reveal the hidden room and the Mystery Box within to pour your Jolts into.

Topics FPS.It's important to note that these weapon suggestions are our opinion based on various strategies we used on The Final Reich map. It's certainly possible other players will find these weapons less helpful than other guns on The Final Reich map, but even so, anyone can focus on the weapons listed here and they should see an improvement in their performance.
Buying guns off the walls is a great strategy for anyone going for the Easter Egg or trying to get to higher rounds, since it will allow players to refill ammo for their Pack-A-Punched weapons without having to wait for a Max Ammo powerup.
While some may find other weapons more useful, we think these are the best guns in Nazi Zombies that can be bought off the wall:. Some may be wondering why the machine pistol is included on the list, and the answer is simple.
The machine pistol will allow players to rack up significant points in early rounds, which will allow them to open up more areas on the map, buy perks, and upgrade their weapons.
The other guns on the list will provide serious firepower, and are great for killing zombie hordes. Doing so turns the SVT into the AVT, which retains the damage capabilities of the SVT and combines it with the speed of an automatic weapon, resulting in one of the most powerful guns in Nazi Zombies.
Speaking of weapon upgrades, players that hang on to the starting pistol until they reach the Pack-A-Punch station can upgrade it into a pair of deadly guns called Bacon and Eggs. In this case, the special weapon is called the Tesla Gun, and building it requires players progress through a decent portion of the game's "casual" Easter Egg.
For anyone that wants to add this special weapon to their arsenal, please refer to our Tesla Gun guide for more information. However, obtaining the Tesla Gun is just half the battle. In its base form, the Tesla Gun is useful for stunning zombies, but it can be upgraded to become an even deadlier and more powerful weapon. Unfortunately, upgrading the Tesla Gun is even more complicated than building the thing to begin with, but for anyone having trouble figuring out how to upgrade it, check out our Tesla Gun upgrade guide to learn more.
The first is the Jack-in-the-Box explosive, which functions exactly like monkeys did in previous Zombies modes. Taking the smoke grenade slot, players can throw a Jack-in-the-Box to lure in all nearby zombies and kill them with a powerful explosion. Not only is the Jack-in-the-Box great for killing lots of zombies at once, but it can also be used to get players out of a tight spot or distract the undead long enough to revive fallen teammates.
Unfortunately, getting the Jack-in-the-Box boils down to pure luck, as the only way to get it is from the mystery box. Even so, players are more likely to get their hands on the Jack-in-the-Box weapon than they are to find the game's hidden sword. By completing most of the "casual" Easter Egg and some of the early steps for the "hardcore" Easter Egg, players will earn a powerful sword called the Red Talon.
The Red Talon is extremely helpful, even on higher rounds, and can be collected in the Emperor's Chamber. Even so, by focusing on the weapons listed here, Nazi Zombies players should have a much easier time beating their high scores and uncovering the game's many hidden secrets. It resembles the Thompsonbut has higher damage and a larger magazine with a lower rate of fire. Like the Thompson, it is a powerful weapon in the early to mid rounds.
In the later rounds, players will frequently run out of ammo, and the weapon itself has several drawbacks. One of which is the slow rate-of-fire, which can easily be remedied with Double Tap Root Beer. However, its recoil is significantly reduced compared to the campaign and multiplayer versions.
Even after the upgrade, players will often run out of ammo in the middle of a round, leaving them vulnerable.
In both maps, it can be bought off of the wall for points. It has a 32 round magazine with in reserve.

The MP40 deals superior damage per round than any other SMG, which helps mitigate the lower rate of fire. Indeed, if ammunition supplies are an issue, then the lower rate of fire may even be a blessing in disguise. In Call of the Dead it is available off of the wall on the ship. The only difference between this one and the one in Black Ops and World at War is that it now has rounds in reserve ammo instead of rounds.

If anything, do it for the nifty shifting pattern camo—not even a desperate struggle for survival against a supernatural foe can escape the Call of Duty fashion siren song.
Your first destination lies in the Tunnel, so the first few actions you'll perform are the same steps to power the Bunker door when going after the Tesla Gun: turn the gas valves, switch on both generators, and so on.
Check steps in the Tesla gun guide for more specific details. Drop back into the Tunnel after bringing both generators to life and opening the Bunker door. If you're facing the Blitz machine, turn around to meet the Sewer gate right in front of you. Pay the 1, Jolts and follow the sloping path all the way to the bottom, passing by a second gate and a Geistchild stand in an alcove. You can't miss the large cage guarding your final prize in the middle of this pillar-filled room. Move across to an MP40 weapon locker against the far wall, and turn to face the cage.
Find the button sitting beside the pillar closest to the locker. Press it, and the cage will rise a few feet and screech to a halt. You'll now need to find three disposal tubes leading to closed-off areas in the Sewer that contain the remaining switches needed to fully open the cage. Hop in after paying the paltry Jolt ride fee and slide back down into the Sewer. You should now have landed into one of the blocked sections, and a switch cheerfully greets your arrival.
Press it to open the gate back to the main Sewer room where the cage will lift up just a little more. Spend 1, Jolts to unlock the Pub gate which you can find nearby your spawn point and beside the large duffel bag used to store weapons.
The Pub area looks like a nondescript patch of snow beside a blown-out building wall, but it's the shortest route to the second gate you'll need to unlock straight across from where you entered. Once you have another 1, Jolts, use them on the Tower gate and cross to the actual tower past the stone bridge and flaming truck. Check the tower's left side to see the second disposal tube resting against the far corner.
As before, cough up Jolts and slide back to the Sewer, hitting the switch to nearly fully open the station cage. One left! Return to the Command Room and unlock the Morgue gate. Head down the steps, turn right, then take the first left to enter the central room. This is the same room the sword hilt travels to when escorting it for the Tesla Gun. Pinch your nose and drop in. Once you press the last button, the cage should fully lift up to reveal the mighty upgrade station.
Pour 5, Jolts into it and offer your equipped weapon for a substantial upgrade to your offensive power.
Try experimenting with the weapons provided by the Mystery Box in the Command Room for the extra effects they receive—the MG42 machine gun or Karabin sniper rifle are excellent powerhouses when upgraded.
